Paleo Reese’s Cups

We ALL get a sweet tooth from time to time but I like to plan for it in advance.
Disclaimer: 1 of these Reese’s should be enough (they are large)… just because it’s paleo, doesn’t mean you can eat them all at once!
First, put 1 heaping Tablespoon of Almond Butter in cupcake papers in a cupcake pan, and put in the freezer. (They will be ready in 24 hours.)
Then, make the paleo chocolate:
In a sauce pan over medium heat, mix:
equal parts Cocoa Powder and Agave Nectar (we usually use 1 cup of each)
1/3 cup Almond Milk
2 t Vanilla
1 heaping T Coconut Butter
Constantly stir mixture, being sure to scrape the bottom, for about 30 minutes. (If you stop, it will burn.) You want it to be thick in the pan.
Once finished, put in a bowl and in the fridge.
When you’re ready for a Reese’s cup, take a spoonfull of chocolate and put on an almond butter cup and enjoy!
